Workshop On Endophytic Fungi

Report of Workshop and the thematic

With this workshop, that combines both theory and practice sessions, we will share and transfer experiences and knowledge related to endophytic fungi. Endophytic fungi are poorly understood organisms and producers of secondary metabolites of interest. Please refer, as an example, to the following recent publication: Amy L. Eyberger, Rajeswari Dondapati, and John R. Porter. Endophyte Fungal Isolates from Podophyllum peltatum Produce Podophyllotoxin. J. Nat. Prod.; 2006; 69(8) pp 1121 – 1124, which may be accessed at: http://www.pubs.acs.org/journals/jnprdf/promo/most_accessed/index.html
