Until the moment we have found 60 new registries for the Pacific of Costa Rica. The species that present/display an asterisk are species that have been reported for the Pacific of Costa Rica by other authors and does not have until the moment exemplary deposited in the collections of the INBio. The other specimens are deposited in the collections of the Subprogram of Malacología in the National Institute of Biodiversity located in Santo Domingo de Heredia. The collection of the INBio includes/understands a total of 3188 specimens, where 2751 corresponds to units collected in Pacific and 437 in the Caribbean.

The information presented/displayed here can be consulted through the data base ATTA of the National Institute of Biodiversity under the terms of access of the same one. In this base the specific place can be consulted of collects, coordinates, depth, recolector, identifier etc. In addition some to the species have been bound to the UBIS or basic units of information where information can be found on natural history, common museums where they estan deposited the holotipos, synonymies, names and other data of interest of the species.
